TV Personalities & Reality Stars Go Blue & Get Sexy in Honor of National Colon Cancer Awareness Month

Notable Celebrities to Participate in a Dream Date Auction in Los Angeles, March 31, 2012

March kicks off National Colon Cancer Awareness Month and national non-profit the Chris4Life Colon Cancer Foundation announced today will take its popular Celebrity Dream Date Auction event series West to Beverly Hills on Saturday, March 31st when they host their first ever dream date event in the heart of Los Angeles.

The Los Angeles event will feature reality star cast members from ABC’s popular The Bachelor, The Bachelorette and The Bachelor Pad franchises, to TV personality Jillian Harris from Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, to screenwriter and novelist Karen McCullah known for co-writing the critically acclaimed blockbuster hit “Legally Blonde“.  The event will be emceed by former Bachelor contestant Michelle Money.

Event attendees have fun competitively bidding on whom they considered their “dream dates” for a chance to have a special outing with his or her favorite.  In the past, this event has raised over $15,000 for the foundation.  The Los Angeles event will be held at the beautiful SLS Hotel in Beverly Hills and will include a luxurious night of cocktails, food, live entertainment by DJ Gomes, a silent auction and of course the sexy dream dates, all in the name of a great cause.

Participating TV personalities, reality stars and celebrities are personally making a special trip to support the foundation and help raise money for Chris4Life’s colon cancer programs and provide general screening awareness.  The line-up of dream dates includes:

Jillian Harris – TV Personality, Extreme Makeover: Home Edition; former The Bachelorette contestant
Michelle Money – Finalists The Bachelor Pad Season 2, and recently lost her Father to colon cancer
Roberto Martinez – Entrepreneur and People Magazine’s “Most Intriguing People”
Erica Rose – The Bachelor Season 9 and The Bachelor Pad Season 2
Dave Good – Bachelorette Season 5 and Winner The Bachelor Pad Season 1
Karen McCullah – Screenwriter and novelist known for co-writing the critically acclaimed blockbuster hit “Legally Blonde”
Natalie Getz – Notable fashion stylist, writer and TV Personality and Winner The Bachelor Pad Season 1

Colorectal cancer is the second leading cause of cancer-related deaths in the country, with over 145,000 new cases diagnosed this year.  Chris4Life’s focus is to significantly improve the treatment experience for patients and caregivers, and to dramatically raise awareness about colon cancer in general.

Chris4Life is hosting a series of month long awareness events that will celebrate survivors while stressing the importance of getting screened for colon cancer, which is treatable when caught through early screening.
