It’s been some time since I ventured to the beautiful serene world of the “other wine country”. When there, I was blown away by this all natural secret treasure, and all though I went in with a bit of trepidation (but then again, who am I to be a wine snob? I live in Northern Virginia.) as there was uncertainty about this wine region as compared to it’s northern big brother. But we were all pleasantly surprised and appreciative of the not only the unique olive oils, the brilliant art scene, and the gracious vineyards, but also with the delicious wines, the kind welcoming store, gallery, and land owners and of course, with the beauteous landscaping and warm climate.
